An average episode of the early 1950s sitcom "The Trouble with Father". I'm not sure if I got the episode title or date right, but it does feature some of the original commercials (more fun than you'd think) and a plot line that shows the more things change, the more they stay the same. In this episode, Stu ends up co-owning a Dress-shop. I hope the picture quality isn't too awful.

"Typical"- and darn good- episode
Originally telecast (over ABC) for General Mills on February 1, 1952. Verne Smith was the program's announcer; Adelaide Hawley appeared as "Betty Crocker".
Like producer Roland Reed's other comedies- including "MY LITTLE MARGIE" and "THE BEULAH SHOW"- this one had a solid cast, and great writing for a "family sitcom". Stu Erwin, although forgotten today, was probably the most "dignified" of the "bumbling fathers" seen on TV in the early '50s....
